Sorry I wasn't able to update my blog recently due to school. A Level sure is hard..
Anyway.. it's 12.37am now and apparently I can't sleep and I have school tomorrow. Sucks.
The reason I'm posting this is to pour my heart out on something that has been bothering me..
You see.. recently I went for holiday in Singapore during Chinese New Year.. Unfortunately, my AS Level results decided to be released when the holiday started. Unable to do anything, I waited until I came back from my holiday and tried to apply for my AS Level exam.
Little did I know that, the day I come back is the closing date. I tried to submit everything ASAP but still... it wasn't submit..
Here I am waiting for late entry offered by Cambridge.. Not even sure if they offer late entry or not.
So, I told my parents.. ask actually. I asked "mum, what if I can't get the late entry? Can I go off to KL and study ACCA instead? Cause I do not want to suffer taking AS and A2 papers all at once in Oct/Nov exam"
I was hoping she would support me but life isn't fair. She told me that she could not afford me to go study overseas. In quite a harsh way by the way.
Here I am thinking.. I'd rather go suicide and die if I were to take all of them in one go.
Parents just don't understand how hard the exams are. Not many people are able to achieve good grades if they take them all in one go. If they cannot, I don't think I can loh..
Most parents think that exams are easy. Easy my ass. The stress from school and the expectations from parents and teachers.. it's not an easy task..
People who are poorer are able to go overseas.. all this depends on the parents whether if they are willing to sacrifice..
I'm not saying it's a must that parents provide everything.. all I am asking here is that to support me for 1 year. 1 year is enough and then I will try my very best to get student loan and a part time job to decrease the cost that need to be paid by my parents..
I really don't want to suffer and get stupid results in the end of my A Level.. Because that would mean that I'm literally wasting my time and wasting my parent's money for 2 years..
I really hope Cambridge do offer late entry.. if not, I really don't know what I can do anymore...
